6 Prep's Mission
6 Prep was founded in 2022 with the vision of better preparing primary school children for high school maths and getting children into top maths streams at top schools.
Our Story
We were constantly approached by parents who struggled to find high-quality, affordable maths resources to support their children - especially when preparing for competitive exams like the Opportunity Class (OC) Test, the Selective School Test, or ICAS Maths. Many were stuck choosing between expensive tutors or stacks of unused maths books that didn’t match the exam formats.
We quickly realised there was a gap in the system. Primary maths education often wasn’t enough to bridge the jump to these challenging exams, and there weren’t any reliable, structured tools designed specifically for OC, selective school entry, or ICAS preparation. More importantly, there was no effective tool to help children make the transition to high school-level maths with confidence.
Our solution? 6 Prep.
A resource which puts thousands of the right maths questions in one convenient place for parents and their children.
